Our Story
The 4,000 square foot newly remodeled restaurant and bar offers American fare and extensive beer, bourbon and spirit selection. The mantra," Casual cocktails, comfortable food, spectacular sports" paired with an ultra-cool vibe, tasty bar food and smoked meats. Built in 1902, the building was originally the Douglas Avenue Fire Station, home to Union Hook and Ladder Company Number Three. The bar, a detailed relic of centuries past, was constructed out of solid mahogany in Chicago in 1888 and has served saloon patrons from San Francisco to Nevada to Arizona. We discovered the vintage treasure in a storage area in Denver and had it transported 2,000 miles to Providence. Sit at the bar and enjoy it in its original beauty, with the exception of several bullet holes the structure endured over 100 years ago. Fire Fighting Memorabilia, Sports Memorabilia, and brick walls frame the venue, lending the space a classic, East coast atmosphere.

Ladder 133 Sports Bar & Grill celebrates the evolving American South and honors its culinary traditions. Inspired by the many regions of the South, from the Carolina coast to the hills of central Texas, the food is soulful with a selection of smoked meats, fresh produce, and thoughtfully sourced ingredients. All of our meats are smoked in our Southern Pride smoker from 2-12 hrs. The "Pink Smoke Ring" you see may be confused with undercooked meats, but is really a sign of authentic BBQ. Our menu selections are handcrafted and made to order. Each item and its ingredients have been carefully designed with balanced taste and flavor. We recommend not to alter our recipes. So kick back and enjoy the Ladder 133 experience with confidence.
